Snappy Homefry
Bass Guitar
Every band wants a bass player who knows how to lay down a solid groove. Snappy not only provides deep and wide grooves for the Chameleon Project but he can do it in genres ranging from funk, to reggae to drum & bass to electronica…and do it with a smile.
While Snappy claims the influence of Bootsy Collins, Prince, Tom Petty, The Meters, Willie Nelson and everyone in between, he admits to an obsession with the music of the Parliament/Funkadelic. “I don’t know what it is but when George Clinton and the band kick it up and the deep groove hits the dancefloor, life just seems a whole lot better.”
Snappy’s talent extends into song writing and is a seasoned producer. “This is just something that I had to do” and concludes “I want to take on the challenge of taking challenging and improvised groove music from inspiration to completion to production”.
